Navy DSRC iDataPlex Upgrades
The Navy DSRC is pleased to announce that the IBM iDataPlex systems, HAISE and KILRAIN, have been significantly upgraded. Both systems now contain 43 additional compute nodes for use by HPCMP users. These 43 nodes consist of the following node types:
- 40 general compute nodes (32 GBytes of RAM each)
- 3 bigmem nodes (256 GBytes of RAM each)
Note: All compute node types are based on 2.6 GHz Intel Sandy Bridge cores
The general compute nodes will be added to the HPCMP defined compute queue pool (queues: standard, challenge, high, debug, and background).
The bigmem nodes will be accessible via the "bigmem" queue. The bigmem queue's attributes may be viewed with the "qstat -Qf bigmem" command.
